Up and Down the Shire

The Journey from Nyasaland to Malawi is a Journey from the land of water to the land of flames. On the surface, it requires, on one hand, the art of balancing in a dugout canoe along the still, cool and deep waters of the Shire River, on the other one ought to brave the scorching heat that fills the air of the Shire Valley. In this territory congested with crocs and hippos, maintaining a warm-hearted spirit and wearing a smiling face is a must. This music is to help the listener take heed of the journey on the inside. A journey to the hot springs of the Mphizi to a baptism of water and fire. A call that echoes deep within the heart of every traveler in Nyasaland.
